On February 23rd 2020, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology will open the doors of the Clean Combustion Research Center to the brightest engineering and chemistry students worldwide for the Third  "Clean Combustion Winter School". Students passionate about climate change and energy sustainability will learn about the key role of combustion for a cleaner future and how to turn their passion into action.

Lectures on fundamentals of combustion physics, chemical kinetics, and internal combustion engines to introduce you to the world of combustion research. Tutorials complement the lectures by providing numerical and experimental tools to help succeed in your research project.  



Select a research area, and experience combustion research in state-of-the-art laboratories, under the supervision of a CCRC faculty.

WHO CAN APPLY?​

  • Undergraduate senior students in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, combustion and plasma related disciplinary area.
  • Graduate students for master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, combustion and plasma related disciplinary area.
